About Us
Our Mission
The Winchester Aid Alliance Inc.'s mission is to strategically address the identified issues plaguing underserved communities, such as hunger, homelessness and lack of economic empowerment, through research driven projects that directly relieve said issues.
Our Purpose
The Winchester Aid Alliance Inc.'s existence is based on the belief that those who are able, must do. We are convinced that it is our duty to assist those who are in need, regardless of religious, racial and socioeconomic factors. The founder's intrinsic need to help others is attributed to a key pillar of his religious beliefs, the aims identified by his fraternal brotherhood, as well as a required importance placed on philanthropic practices instilled by his family, tracing back to its home of Lagos, Nigeria.
Who We Serve
We serve the downtrodden, disenfranchised and underserved communities found locally, regionally and nationally. The organization's fundraising arm primarily serves the Chicago, IL-based participants of GRO Community's Reentry program, while our educational arm serves the Communications students currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL.
